Tips to Improve Memory Power
As we are always concern and take care of our body health, brain health is as important as body health. Everyone wants sharp and good memory, whether we are student, adult or old aged person. Some important tips are described here to improve memory power.
Cause:
Weak memory can be due to depression and stress, dietary deficiency, sleep deprivation, excessive medication, alcohol, tobacco, drug use, nutritional deficiency, hormonal changes during pregnancy or others. Some important tips are described here to improve memory power and they are as follows -
Home Remedies:
1. Sock 7-8 almonds in water overnight and then peeled the skin of almond, chew these almonds with a glass of luke warm milk in the morning
2. Add 5-6 almonds powder or paste and one table spoon poppy seeds (khus khus) powder in one glass of luke warm milk and drink in the morning
3. Take quarter table spoon black pepper and one table spoon honey, mix properly and eat this empty stomach every morning
4. For Breakfast: Take half bowl oats, add one cup of milk, add two chopped dates, add three - four chopped almonds add one table spoon honey mix properly and eat for breakfast. After that eat one unpeeled apple
5. Half table spoon cumin powder (black jeera) and one table spoon homey, mix properly and eat two times in a day
6. Take one table spoon honey and add a pinch of cinnamon powder, mix properly and have is before sleep (precaution do not forgot to rinse your mouth and brush your teeth)
7. Take two spoon clarified butter (ghee) add half table spoon black pepper powder and one table honey, mix properly and have it once a day
8. Crush 10-12 almonds and add in a glass of milk, boil the milk for 5-10 minutes and cool to room temperatures. Drink this milk once a day
9. Have Bacopa monnieri (Brahmi) syrup, or tablet or chew some fresh leaves.
10. Eat walnut and raisin (kishmish)
Spices & Herbs: Turmeric, Nutmeg, or Nutmeg oil, Oregano, Ginseng, Sage or Sage tea are also help in boosting memory power
Drink Right: Drink plenty of water every day, Coconut water; eat coconut flesh, and coffee
Eat Right: Eat healthy diet, and avoid junk food
Fruits: Especially blue berries, grapes, cranberries
Vegetables: Spinach (palak) Broccoli, red cabbage
Fish: Include fish such as Salmon (ravas), Tuna, Sardines (pedvey), Mackerel (bangda) in your lunch or dinner.
Eat black chocolate (it would be better if you make black chocolate in coconut oil).
Sleep: Get proper sleep every night or in the day if you worked in night time
Challenge your brain: Play brain games (such as Chess, Pictionary or others) or play puzzles
Master a New Skill: If you do not play brain game then try to learn new skills, learn to play musical instrument or new language
Use mnemonic devices: Mnemonic devices are any learning technique that aid information retention, for example play with short poems, rhymes, acronyms, memorable phrases, antakshari (a word chain game)
Yoga: Practice deep breath, pranayama and meditation, these practice increases your concentration and focus, which benefits memory power
Physical activity: Include physical activities in your daily schedule, that flow blood into your whole body and to your brain
Socialize regularly: Social interaction helps to shed off depression and stress. Do not miss any opportunities to get together with loved ones, friends and others.
