Rava Upma, Banana & Coffee:

Have you Enjoyed Ever this breakfast ? A combination of rava upma, banana and coffee can a good combination for your delicious, healthy and filling breakfast. Some of you will be familiar with rava upma cooking. However, here is the recipe you can try to cook at home.

Ingredients:
Rava (grinded husked wheat) : 100 gm
Onion : 4-6 slices
Mustard seeds : 1/2
Green Chilly (optional) : 1 - 2 sliced
Cashew Nuts : 2 teaspoon
Ginger : Thin sliced (½ inches)
Mint leaves : 3 - 4 pieces
Water : 1½ cup of water
Salt : according to your taste
Cooking oil : Sunflower or vegetable oil (6 teaspoon)

Preparation:
First you need to add two table spoon of cooking oil into the pan and upon heating add rava and roast it till golden color.

Second take another cooking pan and keep it in the stove or heat plate and pour the oil on cooking pan. When the oil get heated, pore some mustard seeds, sliced onions, chilies and ginger. Stir it well some time (till it get yellowish to brownish color). Then add sufficient amount of water and stir the mixture. When the mixture started to boil pour the roasted rava in it so as it must be immersed in the water. The water level should be above than rava poured. Now add salt and keep stirring slowly this mixture till it gets boiled. Now, add roasted cashew nuts and mint leaves. Stir well so that the boiled rava particles become swollen (puffed small balls). Hot upma is ready to serve.

Hot upma can be served with bananas, any curry or soup and coffee or tea of your choice.
