When herbs are infused directly into the dough, the aroma fills the kitchen and makes it a difficult task to wait for it to be golden crisp. Bread can be eating for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or the hours in between. It can be eaten with soup, stews, or with meat wedged in between. It can be slathered with creamy butter or eaten dry and hot. It can be spread with butter and toasted with cheese. It's just not the same, however, when it's store bought and cold or stale. Some groceries sell freshly baked bread still hot from the oven but when those are hard to find, you can just make your own with a delicious herb bread recipe.
