Tips to Cure Dry and Chapped Lips: 
Lips have thin layer of skin and remain exposed to the sun, wind, cold, and dry air all the time. Winter air and low humidity dehydrate lips. That can make your lips lose moisture, develop tiny splits and cracks. Those lips sometime bleed and get pain. 


Tips to care your lips: 

1. Licking, scrubbing, peeling, biting of skin flakes your lips are not good ideas. These habits slow down healing process. 

2. Avoid using lipstick until your lips get healthy. 

3. Soak a towel in a hot water, squeeze dry and gently press with your lips of 5-7 min then gently rub orange (mandarin) peel over dry lips. 

4. Common remedy 1: Apply milk cream, or clarified butter, or pure lanolin, or natural oil (castor seed oil, or shea butter, sunflower seed oil, coconut oil, ), or petroleum jelly, or glycerin to make sure your lips stay moist. Alternatively by applying your favorite lip balm or emollient balm or ointment can protect your lips. 

5. Home remedy 2: Sugar method: Make a past by mixing one table spoon vegetable oil (or olive oil) with half spoon brown sugar and gently scrub on your lips to remove dry skin and then rinse off your lips with luke warm water. 

6. Home Remedy 3: Make a paste by mixing well a pinch of turmeric powder in a half spoon of clotted cream (malai or yellowish layer of fat and protein of milk formed by heating the milk and allowing to cool). Apply this paste on your lips 3- 4 times on your lips. 

7. Home Remedy 4: Make a mixture of rose water two spoon and little amount of honey (or glycerin) and apply this paste on your lips 3- 4 times on your lips. 

8. Home Remedy 5: Apply clarified butter (also known as butter) to your noval. 

9. If you are using your hand make sure they are clean 

10. Drink plenty of water every day and increase the quantity if good vegetables and fruits in your daily diet 

11. Make sure you are not allergic on any item described above.
