  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/3rd  cup sugar

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1/3rd cup dry, frozen raspberries

Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix together the dry ingredients- the lavender flowers, flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar. Add the sour cream and mix in with the dry ingredients until they become moist and no dry bits remain. Now fold in the frozen raspberries. Knead the dough on a floured surface and knead about seven to eight times. Roll it into a round pie shape about half an inch thick. Use a spatula to slice up the pie into four or five pieces and then lift them onto a greased baking sheet. Bake for about fifteen to twenty minutes or until the surfaces of the scones are golden brown.
